Awakening
It was night, it was raining hard, the mist covered the whole town; the town of Inferis.
That day, there was five teens who came to visit the said ghost town, in a blue off-road SUV. Taking pride in paranormal enthusiasm, most just call it obsession.
John, he was the leader; Cocky and Energetic, he was driving the vehicle, concentrating against the noise of his talkative Colleagues. Marvin, the paranoid of them all, strong but a coward. He stays behind at most times. Sam, he was the most enthusiast of them, he would risk anything for the experience. Cassandra, she was the most techie, and also a hottie, she is somewhat withdrawn to social interaction, she excels in the use of computer at various aspect, and the youngest of all. Kate, or Katie the tomboy, she isn't really a tomboy, but rather can relate to most boys at school.
At the back of the vehicle, Cassandra was managing their equipments, but nothing more than motion sensors, micro-cameras infrared scope, EMF Reader and Voice recorder for EVPs.
She then connected the equipment in a wireless 50 meter reach. She then activated her camera hidden at her glasses to record things abnormal; temperature, EMF spikes and others. Sam, he was on the jump seat beside Marvin, watching the trees go by. Katie was sleeping with a book as her pillow; it was the 'Paranormal Activity' Encyclopedia for paranormal things. John was driving, after the noise of the other colleagues he finally loosen up.
At the front gate of the town, they reached. It was black and broken down, locked by massive chains, kept locked for years, though clearly it survived through the test of time. "it's Locked!" shouted John from the driver's seat, disapointed. "well!... Ram that gate open!" answered Kate, "it's not our property" answered Marvin, "I didn't come all the way here for nothing!" said Sam. Outside she went quietly, Observing, Cassandra was quietly staring at the words written at the signboard of the town containing it's name, "Inferis" but there was a sentence written in dried blood "it's hell you dumb idiots!"
A few minutes after, their SUV came dashing at the gate, and eventually breaking it open. She ran at the gate, but then she saw the security house, withered, broken open. She entered with fear frozen her mouth shut and her face to show any emotions. Inside she saw couple of dead police, they were trying to ran from something from the direction of their fall. She saw blood splattered all over the walls, and broken shotguns, rifles and revolvers.
"Cas!... Where are you?" shouted by her colleagues. Not wanting to scare them, she never mentioned what she saw and kept it to herself, before she left, she found a gun on the floor that wasn't destroyed, it was a revolver with .72 ultra magnum that was said to be confiscated from a gangster, it wasn't used so it wasn't destroyed by whatever attacked them.
"you seem so quiet" asked Sam, "well, she's always speechless" said Kate, "she's a lot pale than usual" said Marvin as he cower from behind. John then honked it's horn and called their attention, and then they all went inside the SUV. On the back Cassandra was secretly looking at the gun, and she was remembering what she saw, wondering what attacked them.
Sam was trying to spot things out of the ordinary outside, but all of it seems to be. The houses were charred and wrecked by something of the unknown.
Later on the road, mist became smoke and a smell of burning flesh, and rain drops became blood with chunks of human meat, some were burning, buildings and trees around them caught on fire and shown the damages. All of them freaked out, Marvin was hugging Cassandra, all of them cowered on the back seat, but John stayed on the front to continue driving them to safety. He turned on the wipers and he closed all the windows of the vehicle. "wh--what's that..." asked Marvin, "i think it's--" said Sam but then Kate continued, "human blood, meat...". "we shouldn't have come..." said Cassandra as she cries in fear.
Suddenly a body of a man crashed on their hood, limbless, his intestines and other body organs were hanging from outside, and he was bleeding to death, his eyes were black with 'firey red' spots, his body was burned but still bleeding. "Libarate Tutume Ex Inferis!" said the man with a voice emanating from the grave. John then freaked out and stopped the car, the body flew forward and away from them. "what did he said?... Cass" asked Katie. "it's latin... save... Yourselves from... Hell" said Cassandra, and then she covered her face with her both palms as she tucked on her seat.
Retribution
John then turned the car around and drove off. After reaching the gate, suddenly it was fixed again, it has spikes made from large animal bones, the whole gate and tall fences were burning endlessly. "what now?" asked Sam. Suddenly something rammed the car. The sliding door has a big bump inward that closed it shut. The car then tumbled from the distance.
They then panicked and went outside, Cassandra with the equipment, she was the last to go. Sam looked behind, and he saw a 'minotaur' walking like a gorilla, a giant fist with flaming overgrown nails, with a large twin twisted horns, it has a mane made of fire and so it's hair from the hand and tail, it has an eye that was made of black orb with fire gushing out.
Cassandra was shocked when she turned and sought the beast, it was big enough to handle her like a doll. When it roared, she and the others ran as fast as they could. Suddenly, the beast grabbed something with it's mouth, it was John. Cassandra then took her revolver and opened the cylinder to check for usable rounds, Sam then took his holy water and drenched the cylinder in it's holy water. she then closed the gun, but then as soon as she attacks, John was torn to pieces and got eaten, all their choice is to run.
After a few minutes of running in the rain of blood, they found a house to hide; an old house made of wood that was barely damaged and wasn't caught of fire. After forcing their way in, they looked back and they discovered that the beast was disinterested, so it never followed. As she points her gun to an empty dark and bloody, she was shaking. "oh god... John... He's dead!" said Kate as she Balls up in the corner in fear, she was crying. "oh man... We shouldn't have come!"--" said Marvin, Sam then closed the door, and hugged Cassandra from behind, they were both speechless.
Feeling the blood all over Cassandra, she removed her jacket, revealing her sweater-vest. She Then wiped off the blood on her short skirt and legs from the towel she pulled on her bag, she then changed her socks and shoes to her back-up school set. Her friends then borrowed towels and removed their jacket to wipe off as much blood they showered.
Later that night, the worst came, because of the stormy weather, they cannot jump from house to house and escape and forced to stay. After the incident, Cassandra stayed quiet as she could, where she's good at. "we're gonna die..." said Kate, but then she saw her surviving friends walking towards the dark hallway, she then followed to the light Sam was carrying, along with a book, a small bible.
As red lighting flashes, they see shadows of people commiting crimes, despicable deeds, not for just money but pleasure also, the stangest thing is that the hallway was empty. Later they found a circular room with books of the oldest, both religous, history, and some others, Sam grabbed a book named "Exorcism" 1876, he began reading like nothing happened.
"we should find some place to rest..." said Cassandra from behind, however They stumbled across a giant room. After they entered, the door was shut, their lights suddenly died. Kate, Marvin, and Sam was forcing the door open, but Casandra made a few steps backward.
After she reached the center of the room, a red pentagram on the floor with an identical twin at the ceiling glew and lit the place, the house then show seals connected by lines with the same red glow. All her friends then turned around and saw her standing at the middle of room, she threw her gun away, towards them, and then she was lifted off the ground, her very long hair wasn't reacting at the gravity and was floating to every direction. There was red hot bloody barb wires from the edges of the pentagram holding her up, five from the ceiling was wrapped on her feet, and neck and so does the pentagram from the floor, holding her in place. She lost consciousness, smokes from outside, blood, and fire began entering her in a stream. After the stream breaks and end, the whole house suddenly became bloody.
Apocalypse
As the wires faded, the "stream" went out of Cassandra's body and into the house itself. Sam then opened the "Exorcism" book and found the same seal information: "Retribution: it's a seal that opens the door of hell and welcomes millions of demons to the world. It is activated by" said the book, but the last word was "erased". Cassandra then Regains consciousness and stood up, there were burns on her wrist, ankle and neck, but then it suddenly faded.
Kate helped her up, Marvin took her bag and Sam finally broke the door open. Suddenly, Cassandra's motion alarms began buzzing, her motions sensors she set on the way sensed movement of lots of entities, maybe even billions. She then set her infrared camera, showing many entities lurking on the way.
They then ran for their lives when physiycal objects began speeding at them, broken glasses, vases, painings of demons, and others. After reaching the "library", books fell and shown a secret door. Seeing from the infrared camera that it was empty, they scurried in.
It was the door towards the basement, seeing that it has no hostile entities, they decided to stay. Cassandra and Kate balled on the corner, Marvin was trying to find things to block the door, Sam was Reading the Exorcism book futher. On the article of "Possessed", it was shown that the Possessed has Dilated eyes, but the more of the information was torn.
On the basement, it has a giant stream of blood, and two meters elevated hole that makes a waterfall of blood. Sam then Returned at the "Retribution" seal, a drop of blood then fell on the erased part and revealed the word "Possessed by Demon". He then looked Cassandra as she hugs Kate, Both of them were crying.
Sam then pulled Kate away and behind him, "it's Cassandra!... She was Possessed!... Only a possessed being can open the Seal of Retribution!" said Sam, suddenly the pipes began spewing human skeletons and body parts. And as soon as they were dipped, they became animated and after they touched the air on their wake, they regenerated flesh and burned.
Cassandra then looked at them with grief, "please save me..." she said, Marvin was then pulled by one of the zombies and tore him to pieces, and then he became one of them, Sam then pulled Kate away from the basement. As they left, they heard Cassandra Laughing sinisterly, maniacally, insanely.
On the living room, Cassandra's voice were bouncing off walls, one asks their forgiveness and help, the other was the demon's doing; it's lust for their meat and soul. "Please... kill me... Please Leave... Save youselves" said Cassandra, but a possesed version of her spoke in a childish song like, "i like your meat, i like your soul, i like to eat them big and whole". They then split and locked both door at both ends.
"oh god... Poor Cassandra..." said Kate as she tucked. "it's my fault, i shouldn't have asked her or any of you to come" Sam said as he looks at the revolver. Suddenly the door behind broke open and an arm pulled Kate away. Sam then pointed the gun at Cassandra, but they were already gone.
She pushed Kate against the wall, she then said goodbye: "bye Katie..." she then kissed her on the lips and then snapped her neck killing her, she then drove her hand to her chest and pulled her heart out, and then she squished the blood out as she held it with her mouth, and then she torn Kate's body to many pieces and threw it on the dining table.
On the library, Sam was standing alone, in the middle of the floor. He pointed his gun at his head, but then Cassandra came from the hallway, her face was full of blood, but she was emotionless as always. "I want to save you..." said Sam as he shoots her at the head. The bullet hits her at the head and making her drop at the floor, but the bullet was pushed out and her bullet hole at her head regenerates and closes. She then stood up creepy style, as if something pulled her up from the shoulder.
Cassandra then walked towards him and hugged him. "i always loved you Sam... And it's me talking... I want to save you from this horrible fate... But all i can do is ask for forgiveness..." said Cassandra, Sam then closed his eyes, and then she punched through his chest and grabbed his beating heart.
The demon then made her watch, on the dining room, two candles was lit from two single candled chandalabra. Sam's body was lying at the table, Kate's pieces was hanging on the wall, dripping blood. She was eating calmly like civilized human being, with right table manners, but she was eating the raw meat from Sam's Gut. After a wind blows, the flame dies, and then Cassandra from the dark became a savage eater and ate Sam even faster and uncivilized. After a few seconds, the sound of brutal body ripping stopps, the flash of red showed everything, Sam's left over body, and so is Kate's, Cassandra was lying dead on the chair, her chest was ruptured open from the inside, her head was twisted 360 degrees and her dining knife was impaled deep on her forehead. However her face was angelic, cute and calm.
Suddenly she woke up on her bed, her alarm clock was blaring, she then looked outside her house and saw her friend's SUV, Kate and Sam was outside, Asking her if they were coming to their trip, she then Yelled and said "No!", "Oh well... Your Funeral" said Kate as she went in the SUV and left with it, Sam decided to stay and talk at her, "not my death you dumb-ass..." said Cassandra to herself. "so that's what happened..." said Sam after settling in her house, "i had visions that always came true, so sometimes i can avoid them..." she said.
After a week, the parents of their friends filed a search for their sons and daughters. But only after a month they knew that all of them died, they stated that Kate, Marvin, And John had a mental break-down, became cannibals and ate each other to death in at a condemned town, in an old house. None of their families can explain what happened, but only Cassandra knew that it would, but she never had the courage to, she was at her bed, lying.
