Dreamweaver: Tragedy of Reality

Moonlight Sonata

It was night, stars were gently twinkling, the lonely moon was shining it's natural light. "thanks for bringing me here daddy..." said the girl as she hugs his father as his father carries her, his wife was walking right beside him, all of them having a good time at the amusement park. "sure thing Joyce..." he said, and then he kissed her at her forehead.

Later, they were found watching her play for a giant teddy bear; it was big as her, violet colored. From her stance, she was proficient in handling weapons at her young age. After she lined up the front sight to the rear, she shoots. All of her shot landed on the perimeter required for her to win, except one. "Ariel... Why don't you step up and help her?" asked her wife, he then stepped forward and removed Joy from the seat she was standing from and along with the seat. He paid the man again and allowed him to shoot, and moments later, he won the teddy bear for his daughter. "Thanks dad!" she said as she clutches the stuffed toy. "look at that Carmen..." he said as he hugs his wife, they were giggling.

After a few toys, they went to the rides; at first they went at the scary 1000ft roller coaster, above all, it was made superior materials and architects to ensure maximum security. Next was a modified Merry-go-round, but instead tri-axial, first axis holds four poles altogether spinning horizontally, next axis was at the edges of the poles, spinning vertically were another quad poles, holding the cars.

The next place was Horror Park; a free roam place, Joy just ran through and wasn't scared, along with her parents. After getting out to the light, she emerged with a stolen mask, a toy knife, a prop prosthetic leg, false teeth of a vampire, and a toupee. She was giggling as her parents laughed along with her, before they go; she left her stolen things at the foot of the exit.

Next at Laser Tag, they played like crazy; most of their night was spent only at that game. Inside, she was naughtily playing; cheating. Though she was cheating, her only cheat was an extra laser pen, and thus she was racking most points.

Later they went home; at 821 Jasmine, Cherryville Estate. Their house was a simple three storey house, though not a mansion, it was beautiful then. At first, they've taken their daughter to her room; at the top floor with a sunroof so that she can watch the stars. After tucking her to sleep, they went to sleep too.

Broken Sonnet

Suddenly, there was a black-out, and he woke up. Inside a futuristic pod, he opened it and climbed up. He was bothered, and irritated. He gently taps the machine with his finger. The machine functions as Virtual Reality Simulator. He tried to reanimate the machine and his "life" inside, but it won't work.

Looking closely at his house, he was rich; from his expensive things like furniture. But the walls were full of picture frames, as if he was insane; the pictures inside was Carmen, and some is with him. Most were hanged by frames, but some were littered across the floor, or either pinned or glued at the wall, neatly arranged and they fully covers the wall.

He went outside his room and to his corridor; it was dark but neat, still paved with endless pictures of her and them together. He walks at his kitchen, and to his giant fridge. It was full of chocolates, but instead he grabbed his last insulin and syringe.

Going back at his room, he sat on the VR Simulator's bed and he caught a glimpse of her at his window; the actual person visiting her mailbox. He then looked away in grief, but as soon as he looks away, he saw a picture frame at the top of the desk, it's the only picture with Carmen, with another man; named Nestor. Under it was his yearbook opened to the last page, with her only signature: "I will always love you... Like a brother...” written under.

Instead, he threw his insulin at the trash can, and opened the drawer under. He pulled a hollow point bullet, .50 S&W Magnum caliber and a revolver that contains it. He pulled the hammer back and pointed it at his head as he looked at her with grief.

From outside, Carmen was reading her mails, she then stumbled across their court letter of divorce few months ago from Nestor. She was to tear it but Joyce came and held her hand. Suddenly she looked towards the window of the house next door, seeing a man pointing a gun at his head, looking at her with sadness, she found him to be Ariel.

She let go of her daughter's hand and tried to run to the house, but a truck ran and blocked her, and after the vehicle has passed by, he died. "no... No please..." she said as she ran at the front door, she lifted the mat and found the key. After opening, she turned the lights on and found their photos together. Slowly walking, saddened by the grief she burdened him over the years, she reached the bedroom at the second floor. Looking at the table, she found her ex-husband's photo and his Last Will under, she was shaken. "Listen to the gunshot and hear my cries of blood. Have my money, all of it transferred at her account......." said the Will.

She clutches him at her arms and cried. "Daddy?" asked Joyce as she gently walk towards them, Carmen then answered with a pretended calm voice "daddy's fine... He's at a better place...". She then kneeled and kissed her real father's forehead, "goodnight daddy" she said. “I’m so sorry Ariel…” she said as she kissed him goodbye

Ask this yourself: Did she cry because he loved her so much, or that she was the main cause of his death, that the guilt is choking her?
